Under the Governor's executive order, certain property owners directly impacted by COVID-19 can still file a request for penalty cancellation.

The 2020-21 Property Tax bills are scheduled to be mailed the last week of September 2020

The first installment will be due November 1, 2020 and will be delinquent if paid after December 10, 2020
The second installment will be due February 1, 2021 and will be delinquent if paid after April 12, 2021

COVID-19 Penalty Cancellations

Certain property owners directly affected by COVID-19 may submit a Penalty Cancellation Request Form along with payment if they were unable to pay property taxes by the April 10, 2020, December 10, 2020 or April 12, 2021 payment deadlines in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order. To qualify, the property must be either:

Residential real property owned and occupied by the homeowner (as evidenced by a Homeowner's Exemption)

OR

Real Property Owned and operated by a taxpayer that qualifies as a small business


You can either mail the form to our office along with a check for the property taxes due and documentation showing how you were impacted by COVID-19 and supporting the criteria that you qualify under. You can also pay online and email the request form with documentation to ttcinfo@ttc.ocgov.com. Request forms will not be reviewed if payment has not been received.
